In Atlas Reactor, Trion’s colorful, turn-based action game, we can collect points for our favorite corporation in the so-called “Trust War”. Depending on who wins in the end, the story of the game takes a different direction.
In Atlas Reactor, the “Trust War” has broken out. The Trusts refer to the three major corporations that dominate the world of Atlas Reactor. The fragile balance of power has recently been disrupted, and now the corporations “Omni”, “Warbotics”, and “Evos” are fighting for power and influence.
The coolest part: our cyberpunk heroes are right in the thick of it, working as so-called Freelancers for this Trust and that Trust. Each player can choose a corporation during a repeatable quest and carry its emblem in missions. Once we have achieved a certain number of victories, we receive special rewards and can redo the quest, happily for a different company.
For my corporation!
The twist: every victory is credited to the respective Trust’s account during the ongoing season, and at the end of the season, there are hefty rewards for all players, regardless of whether they have significantly supported the winning corporation or not. The type of loot, of course, depends on the corporation and varies. However, those who particularly loyally support a company receive elaborate skins in the corporation’s style from their Trust loot boxes. The better the respective Trust is ranked, the more hero skins we can unlock in total.
The corporate war does not go unnoticed in the world of Atlas Reactor. Rather, the winner of the Trust War will play a prominent role in the game in the future, and the story will continue to evolve based on that.
Jürgen says: Atlas Reactor is one of my absolute insider tips, especially because the game tells a very lively and original story over its seasons. The fact that I can significantly shape this story as a Freelancer by supporting the corporations accordingly and thereby establishing entirely new narrative threads is particularly cool. I am definitely curious to see which Trust ultimately prevails. Warbotics FTW!
