In ARC Raiders, fans have to find the new item “Checker Matrix” since the latest update “Flashpoint”. However, many are struggling to get this material. Therefore, we show you where to reliably find one of these technical items.
Where can you find a Checker Matrix? The Checker Matrix is a new item that has been implemented since the release of “Flashpoint” in ARC Raiders. Many have ventured onto the maps and tried to access the new resource, but unfortunately, it is not so easy to find. The reason is its location since you can currently only obtain it on maps with the condition “Under Close Observation”.
If you spawned on one of the maps with this effect, you need to look out for the so-called “ARC Checker”. These devices land like probes from space on Earth and bring along nasty ARCs. During their landing, they are marked on the map. To ensure you do not miss them, they also send out three lasers from their position into space – this way you can spot them from afar.
Once you have reached one of the checkers, you need to wait until three platforms are deployed. Use the metal struts and jump onto one of the platforms to then break one of the three pillars. Afterwards, you can loot the container and obtain at least one checker matrix. In total, if you loot alone, you should be able to secure up to three items, as the checker has three pillars.
How do I loot the Checker Matrix without worry? The checker spawns with many rocket gunners and vaporizers who can deal significant damage while you try to break the checker. It is advisable to bring smoke bombs and a photoelectric cloak. Both items make you invisible to the ARCs for a short time, facilitating your escape once you have obtained an item.
Additionally, you should take a loadout with a security pouch so that if you die, you still retain the item and do not lose it. Suitable weapons include Wolfpacks, hull breakers, and other armor-piercing guns, including the Anvil.
What do I need the Checker Matrix for? Currently, the Checker Matrix is primarily needed for the new project “High-Performance Antenna”. Overall, you need 24 copies to complete the project with all its stages. This can take time, so it is wise to take no risks and proceed as safely as possible.
