In ARC Raiders there are many fruits and plants that you can collect, and one of them is moss. Where you can reliably find and farm the plant, and what you need it for, you will find out here.
Where can I quickly find moss? You can find moss in ARC Raiders mainly in damp, natural areas near rivers or lakes. Look for rocks and fallen trees or shady spots where moss could thrive in the real world. Suitable locations include the new map “Riven Tides”, the dome complexes on the dam battlefields, and the olive fields on the map “Blue Gate”.
If you can’t find anything, you should visit the merchant Celeste in Speranza. She sells 5 pieces of moss each day.
Note that spawn points remain random, and moss is one of the most important plants in the game – it is quite possible that other players have already visited the loot spots and left nothing behind.
Now you know where you can find moss, but why is the plant so sought after? We’ll show you.
What do I need moss for? Moss has two uses. Either you consume the item immediately and restore a small amount of health, or you collect it and craft defibrillators from it. The latter is the better choice. With defibrillators, you can revive fallen team members much faster and even resurrect other players. This is especially vital on maps like Stella Montis, where a fight can be lurking around every corner.
As good as the defibrillator may sound, you first need a blueprint to craft it in your medical lab. If you do not have this, you should better store the moss as a reserve in the stash to benefit from it later. Moreover, it is possible that you will need moss for upcoming projects or expeditions.
That was all the important information about moss and where you can find it. In addition to moss, there are many other resources, plants, and fruits that you can collect.
