An important quest for Season 2 of WoW: Midnight is overlooked by many. However, it provides you with the best loot in the game later on.
Season 2 of World of Warcraft Midnight has started, and with it come some quests that you should accept and complete. Because it is already clear that in a few weeks there will be “Bonus Rolls” again, which will allow you to obtain additional loot from various game content.
However, the quest is easily overlooked, as it is not offered in Silvermoon. We will reveal to you how to accept the task so that you don’t fall behind.
Bonus rolls for the best loot – You need a quest
Where does the quest start? The start of the quest line is a bit counter-intuitive. Because it begins in the Twisting Nether with Decimus – so, where you also started the quest line for the Bonus Rolls in the first season. However, the Twisting Nether is likely not visited by most players at the moment, as the action mainly takes place on the winding island.
So, speak with Decimus in the Twisting Nether (coordinates: 51 / 68) and then travel to Silvermoon to talk to Orin the Will-o’-the-Wisp (coordinates: 40 / 65). There you will receive the quest Prismatic Potential, which you will also accept.
What do you need to do for the quest? The quest requires you to collect a total of 10 Elemental Void Core Shards and bring them to Orin. You can obtain the shards from different endgame content. These include:
- Rich Depths
- Raid bosses from Season 2
- Mythic+
- Nightmare Loot Hunts
Once you have collected 10 pieces, return to Orin. The quest line will continue next week and will repeat several times.
If you missed a week, that’s not a problem. You can catch up on the previous quests anytime, although it will take more effort. It is therefore advisable to accept the quest every week and complete it as soon as possible.
Why are Bonus Rolls so important? With Bonus Rolls, you can later specifically look for items you really want. Because if you use the Nebulous Void Cores, you will receive an item of high item level from the source where you used the core. So if you defeat the boss Ula’tek in the raid, but didn’t get lucky with the regular loot distribution, you can simply activate a Bonus Roll and are guaranteed to receive an item from Ula’tek’s loot list. items.
