When does the stress test take place? The launch-scale test for Aion 2 will take place on the following two days:
- September 17: from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- September 18: from 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM
How can I participate? Anyone interested can join on Steam or through NCSoft’s platform PURPLE. The developers admit that there may be an age restriction for access in some countries. However, no age rating has been assigned on Steam yet.
What is the scope of the test? It’s mainly about putting the servers of Aion 2 under full load for a few hours. Therefore, some features are restricted or not available.
- The maximum level is limited to level 37 during the test.
- You cannot make purchases, all payment portals are disabled. Likewise, the marketplace, currency exchange, or trading between players.
- Buyers of founder packages do not have access to the contents of these packages.
- The wardrobe is disabled. Your test characters will only wear their standard outfits.
What is the size of the client? The test client of Aion 2 is 81.57 GB.
Will my progress carry over? Those who are present on both test days will have access to their progress from the first test day on the second day. However, the progress made during the test will not carry over to the Early Access on September 30. At the early launch and official launch, everyone will start from scratch.
