In Aion 2, there are countless systems and features that affect your character's strength. Here, we'll introduce you to the Daevanion talents.
What is behind Daevanion? Behind this menu item lurk the talent trees of Aion 2. Visually, these resemble the Paragon Boards from Diablo 4, and in Aion 2’s counterpart, you must gradually unlock passive enhancements in the form of attribute increases and skill upgrades.
At the start of Aion 2, you have a total of six Daevanion boards available:
- 4 normal boards: Nezekan, Zikel, Vaizel, and Triniel
- 1 board for PvE: Ariel
- 1 board for PvP: Azphel
Unlocking occurs on the board by investing Daevanion points. The four normal boards are comparably structured: the gray nodes provide an attribute increase, the orange talents offer percentage improvements, the green fields level up your passive skills, and the blue unlocks increase the level of an active attack.
Since the four normal boards have a similar structure, you will find an individual field for each passive and active skill of your class on these. In other words: If you invest enough points into these four boards, you will increase all your passive and active skills by four levels each.
Important note: Only through the unlocks of the Daevanion system can your skills reach their respective maximum level.
What about the other two boards? The Ariel board gives you attribute bonuses that are only active in PvE challenges, such as additional damage in boss fights. The Azphel talents only work in PvP. Extra levels for your skills can’t be found on the PvE and PvP boards.
How do I efficiently farm Daevanion points? Through some of the side activities in Aion 2. Your focus should be on the green side quests as well as mastering all Sealed Dungeons in the open world. Those who are diligent here should unlock all important upgrades of the four normal boards. You can also secure additional Daevanion points through the Shugo Festival shop if needed.
The two endgame boards for PvE and PvP are significantly more complex to level up. First, you must secure the fragments of Ariel and Azphel, respectively. You obtain these through specific PvE and PvP content:
- Ariel fragments: You farm the PvE fragments best through the Ascension Trial. While you also get a few through weekly or daily quests, usually only in small quantities. Alternatively, you can buy limited amounts of Daevanion Crystals for Ariel in the Nightmare Dungeons shop.
- Azphel fragments: You farm the PvP fragments through victorious participation in the weekly battleground. The first Azphel Crystals will be awarded when you collect the feathers in the Abyss and use them to improve the Ereshkigal monolith. Additionally, you can buy a limited number of these for Abyss Points in the Abyss shop.
With the fragments in hand, you switch to the game’s Crafting feature “Substance Morph” in the menu, where you can create the corresponding Daevanion Crystals from the fragments. You have two options: Do you want to invest 10 fragments with a 10 percent chance of success? Or 100 fragments, from which a crystal will be guaranteed? The choice is yours!
Tip: Players can trade Daevanion Crystals for Ariel and Azphel on the marketplace. This way, you can earn a golden Kinah nose or fill annoying gaps on your own boards.
