The big showdown of The Boys featured many familiar characters in a final battle. However, one who has caused more damage than Homelander is missing.
With Season 5, not only did the Amazon series The Boys come to an end, but many characters that viewers have followed for years had to face their fate. The destruction in the last episode was likely less than many had expected.
Especially Homelander disappointed certain fans and did not host an impressive destruction festival. Some viewers have now noticed that a supporting character has caused significantly more harm to the world – and they didn’t even have to appear in the finale.

Which character is it about? Black Noir 2 is the culprit, as a Reddit post shows. The creator of the thread notes that he caused more damage worldwide than the archvillain Homelander. He first appeared in Episode 1 of Season 4 and replaced the real Black Noir after he was killed by Homelander.
He acts less as a Supe and more as a marketing gimmick so that the world continues to believe that Noir is alive. Therefore, he is not allowed to speak or use his ability to fly. Additionally, he is mostly shown as Bro
by The Deep, especially in their joint podcast (for example on YouTube).
How did he harm the world? In Season 5, Vought builds an oil pipeline through the sea (between Alaska and Siberia), for which The Deep even (albeit reluctantly) advertises. In a video on YouTube, The Deep emphasizes that he personally checks the pipelines, and anyway, oil is not dangerous, it’s completely natural and organic

After The Deep kills the theater director of Black Noir 2, Black Noir seeks revenge by destroying the pipeline. As a result, people, especially marine life, think The Deep is to blame. The destruction resulted in the death of 1.4 billion fish, a significant burden on the earth.
He is subsequently killed in rage by The Deep and does not appear anymore after Episode 6 of Season 5. This is particularly ironic considering how little destruction Homelander actually caused in the finale. The blonde Superman clone was not very effective: In his fight against Butcher and Co., only the Oval Office was actually destroyed.
