In Pokémon GO the monster of the next Community Day has been announced. Additional dates have also been revealed.
Community Days are among the most popular events in Pokémon GO. You have 3 hours to find and catch a monster in very high numbers in the game. The shiny chance of the monster is significantly increased and there are also additional strong bonuses.
After Chimpep was the focus of the Community Day in January 2026, the Pokémon for February 2026 has now been announced. Additionally, many dates for the next season have also been confirmed.
1 Event, 2 Forms
Which monster is coming in February? The Community Day in February 2026 will take place on February 1 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. There, Vulpix, the fire monster from the 1st generation, will be in the spotlight.
It will appear in its regular form as well as in the Alolan form during the event. Alolan Vulpix has the Ice type. Both monsters can evolve into Vulnona. While regular Vulnona remains a Fire type, the Alolan form has the Ice and Fairy types.
What bonuses are there at the event? As usual, the Community Day will be accompanied by a variety of strong bonuses. These are:
- exclusive move Energy Ball for Vulnona if you evolve it within 4 hours after the Community Day
- exclusive move Cold Shower for Alolan Vulnona if you evolve it within 4 hours after the Community Day
- triple amount of experience points
- double catch candy
- double chance of XL candy when catching (from level 31)
- Smoke activated during the event lasts for 3 hours (except for the daily adventure smoke)
- Lure modules activated during the event last for 1 hour
- Snapshot surprises
- Event field research
- optional special research for $1.99
Additionally, the following bonuses will be active on the day of the Community Day from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM:
- Trading costs 50% less Stardust
- an additional special trade (a total of 3 through the regular as well as the bonus of the current season)

So far, there is no concrete information about the new season in Pokémon GO, which starts on March 3, 2026. However, the first dates have now been announced, which you can mark directly in your calendar.
