What problem does PoE2’s endgame have? Players are slowly getting tired of the endgame in Path of Exile 2. For some time now, they have been discussing new ways to make the endgame more exciting on Reddit and in the official forum.
Many are currently annoyed that in the current atlas system, there is no end and you just run in one direction for a very long time without a real goal in sight. While each player has their own idea of the perfect endgame, one has now proposed a suggestion that was able to convince many.

A Map in the Style of WoW
What does he propose? The player Major_Dutch_89 has devised his own concept for the endgame of Path of Exile 2. He believes that a map like in WoW could be a good replacement for the atlas system. This way, areas could be suitably placed on the new world map and you could travel from place to place to complete enemies, bosses, and challenges.
The community likes his idea and builds upon it. User Redditor TheNoon44 suggests that there could be a proper endgame campaign and after completing the game, a NewGame+ could start. This NewGame+ could then give enemies new effects, influence the world, or even bring about larger changes.
Players like this idea as long as the game offers endless replay value, as it does now. Making their character stronger and more powerful is the goal of Path of Exile 2, and players wouldn’t want to give that up.

What does this have to do with WoW? The inventor of the idea accompanied his proposal with a map that looks as if the designers at Blizzard created it. Many players were immediately reminded of Azeroth upon seeing it. They write on Reddit:
