A new horror co-op game on Steam is reminiscent of Phasmophobia but promises a twist that makes your ghost hunting an emotional affair.

Visually, the game is reminiscent of Phasmophobia and fits into the popular horror co-op games like Devour, Demonologist, or Pacify. However, Remnant Records does not only promise a new twist but also shows in the trailer that it is definitely not for the faint of heart:
What awaits you as ghost hunters? At first glance, the game not only looks like Phasmophobia but also sounds quite similar in concept.
Together with up to three other players, you will be employed as ghost hunters to investigate in a ‘haunted house’. In this case, it’s not only about identifying the ghost but also exorcising it.
Your first task will be to understand the ghost, its death, and its life. Only then will the exorcism work. You will search for evidence left behind from the ghost’s life. Diaries, newspapers, or other unusual items provide information about the deceased’s life.
