Leaks with new information about Pokémon GO keep appearing. This time is no different. There are some hints about new features in the game.
What kind of information is this? The new information comes from the Discord of the so-called PokeMiners. This is a group that looks for changes in the data of Pokémon GO, known as data mining. Recently, they found information about the Mega Evolutions of Mewtwo.
Such changes in the files often indicate upcoming features. However, please note that this is not official information yet. Whether and when this content will find its way into the game is unknown.
Monsters, Raids, and Dates
What kind of monster is this? The leak includes images of one of the most eagerly awaited monsters in Pokémon GO: Mimic. If it finds its way into the game in the near future, it will likely excite many trainers.
Additionally, in addition to Mega-Sarzenia, which has already been officially announced, images of Gigantamax Meowth and various costumed forms of Pikachu have appeared. The Pikachu forms are expected to be part of the GO Tour 2026 in February, just like Mega Sarzenia.
You can see how the assets of the new monsters look in this post on Reddit:
What new features are there for raids? New assets related to raids have also been found in the data of Pokémon GO. The data miners suspect that these involve new Mega Raid eggs. Whether these will have increased difficulty remains to be seen.
Likewise, new items named “Link Charge” and “Link Charge holder” have been discovered. Some trainers on Reddit suspect that trainers can use these items to participate in Mega Remote Raids. Whether and how this will affect the regular Remote Raid passes is unknown.

What dates were leaked? Additionally, the leaks contain information about two dates that are supposed to take place in February.
These involve a raid day with the tier spirit form of Cupidos on February 14, 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00, as well as a dynamax battle day on February 15, 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00, during which Gigantamax Meowth is expected to debut.
At least the debut of Gigantamax Meowth fits quite well, considering the leaked assets of the monster. Furthermore, the monster has already been officially announced for the current season, which is active until March 3, 2026, at 10:00.
While the leaked dates have not yet been officially confirmed, there are some dates and content that are definitely still taking place this current month. If you want to know what they are, feel free to check out our overview with all events in January 2026 in Pokémon GO.
