The developers of Path of Exile 2 have revealed in their new announcement what changes are coming to the ARPG soon. Four classes are particularly happy about the buffs.
What have the developers announced? The developers of Path of Exile 2 have announced further changes to the game in their new statement. Previously, there was increased criticism of the new season “Dawn of the Hunt,” which many found too difficult and sluggish.
In their new post on PathofExile.com, the developers introduced new buffs that are supposed to improve the ARPG. They explain that they are now done with the nerfs and want to move on to buffing weak classes.
Four classes are in focus in the new patch, which is set to go live later in the week. There are also new features for the entire game that affect all classes.
Here you can watch the trailer for the new season “Dawn of the Hunt”:
Buffs for Four Classes
Which classes are receiving buffs? The new update has already revealed buffs for four classes:
The most improvements go to the Witch. She receives more area damage, longer debuffs on enemies, more combos, and a faster build-up of elemental effects.
The Huntress is also being buffed. Enemies that are hit by her parry can no longer evade after being struck. Additionally, the skill Rapid Assault
now deals more damage, has a larger AoE, and causes enemies to bleed every time the skill detonates.
The Warrior receives improvements to his new expansion class “Smith of Kitava”; the ability “Temper Weapon” now adds 3 enhancements per hit to the weapon and is 25% faster. The skill Shield Wall can now be detonated through “Battle Cry,” allowing for new combinations. Furthermore, the “Armour Break” that monsters deal has been nerfed, leading to better defensive values.
The Ranger gets increased range with the skills “Stormcaller Arrow” and Lightning Arrow
. The skill Lightning Rod
deals 30% more damage and lasts longer, plus the skill “Tornado Shot” stays active longer. “Stormcaller Arrow” also spreads its shock effects to nearby enemies.
What changes affect the general public? Another important change concerns the rare monsters in Path of Exile 2. The developers found that enemies at the edge of the map were often overlooked, which is why opponents will now permanently appear on the minimap. The full patch notes can be found on PathofExile.com.
What else do the developers share? At the beginning of the new season “Dawn of the Hunt,” players discovered a trick that allowed them to reroll items infinitely. This way, they could select exactly the valuable items they wanted. This led to several hundred players quickly accumulating a lot of wealth. These cheaters have now been banned by the developers until the end of the season.
The developers of Path of Exile 2 had previously made changes to the maps of the game’s campaign. They had been too large for a long time, and with the nerfs that came with the season, players needed even longer: Developers respond to negative feedback, finally adjust an annoying part of Path of Exile 2
