How does the spell work? Admittedly, air spells are often not nearly as impressive as spells of other elements, but this one packs a punch. When you cast it, an aggressively swirling sphere of air appears. Although it has a radius of only 2 feet, it brings some exciting tricks with it.
Your enemies who merely touch it will suffer 3d6 damage. Additionally, if they are medium-sized or smaller, they will be knocked over if they fail their saving throw. If that happens, they must succeed at a second saving throw; otherwise, something occurs that makes the spell particularly chaotic and absurd.
If the second throw fails, the opponent is hurled 1d8 × 10 feet into the air and flung 1d6 feet away from their current position. Not only do they take falling damage, but they are also forcibly thrown toward the nearest window, should one be nearby.
If objects, walls, or ceilings block the way, the opponent takes 1d6 damage for every 10 feet they cannot be thrown. A perfect spell if you want things to be really fun or action-packed.
On the next page, we introduce you to Solipsism – an illusion spell of a different kind that can create chaotic and fun role-playing moments. If you prefer unexpected effects rather than fun moments, the dark spell “Love’s Pain” might also be for you: D&D: Love’s Pain – A cruel spell that goes straight to the heart
