This is based on a community rule set that prohibits building your character with the help of others. This means that the game mode has some restrictions. It is forbidden:
- to trade with other players
- to pick up item drops from other players
- to access the account storage
- to use skill tomes or learn skills from the account
- to visit the “Zaishen Menagerie”
- to trade with other players via the auction house or NPCs
- to recruit mercenaries into your roster
Additionally, there are some other restrictions that are meant to ensure that players achieve everything on their own and without assistance in this game mode.

What else did the patch bring? The developers of Guild Wars have released further innovations in the patch. There is now a translation of the in-game texts into new languages. Guild Wars is now available in German for the “in-progress” game modes Melandru’s Accord, Dhuum’s Covenant, and Reforged Mode.
Furthermore, the developers have improved touch screen support for the Steam Deck, enhanced the user interface, and provided the Prophecies campaign with more experience points.
