We present to you the gaming setup for 20,000 US dollars built by the GeForce team. Because it includes not only a GeForce RTX 3080 but also a lot of exciting hardware that is not exactly cheap.
Here’s what it’s about: The YouTube channel Nvidia GeForce (currently 1 million subscribers) has presented a gaming setup in a video. In addition to a gaming PC, there is also a setup consisting of multiple screens and a “cockpit”.
In the video, “GeForce Garage” demonstrates how to assemble a gaming PC with an RTX 3080. However, the special thing is not the PC itself but the overall concept into which the PC is integrated.
The finished PC is connected to a setup consisting of multiple screens and a kind of replica cockpit. Because the team then plays Microsoft Flight Simulator with it.
The instruments look like those in an airplane, and thanks to accessories, the chair under you moves with the movements of the plane. So you actually feel like you are sitting in a real cockpit.
But you don’t need a pilot’s license for that, instead, a well-filled bank account. What you need for the entire setup, we will present to you in the next section. However, the biggest problem may already be the graphics card, as the RTX 3080 is currently being sold for a high price on Ebay due to low availability.
If you want to build the system yourself, you need 20,000 US dollars
This is inside the PC: The PC contains an Intel i9-10900k, a GeForce RTX 3080, and 32 GB of RAM. The system is housed in a CoolerMaster SL600M. The PC is powered by an 850-watt power supply and cooled with a liquid cooling system from EKWB.
This is the additional equipment: The extensive special equipment is listed in the video description on YouTube:
- Flight Yoke System + Flight Rudder Pedals
- Flight Throttle Quadrant
- Professional Simulation LCD Multi-instrument Controller (x6)
- Professional Simulation Radio Controller (x2)
- Flight Switch Pane
- Flight Multipanel
- G703 Lightsync PC Gaming Speakers

- G560 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming mouse

- 3 times LG CX OLED 65″ 4K TV
What are the prices? At this point, we want to give you a few examples of what the equipment costs.
Just for the LG TV, you pay 1900 Euros each, so you are already at almost 6000 Euros just for the monitors. The LG CX9, which is used in this setup, is also one of the best TVs for Xbox Series X and PS5 that you can currently get.

The professional simulation accessories come from various companies, including Logitech from the “Saitek Pro” series. Here you pay between 100 and 150 Euros depending on model and product. The devices are not available everywhere anymore.
It gets really expensive when you want to bring realism into play. Accessories like the “Motion Platform V3,” which serves to move your chair when you move in the game, currently cost 2,950 Euros.
Gaming setups can cost (much) more
The YouTuber Unbox Therapy has presented a gaming setup for 40,000 dollars in a video. The gaming setup features a gigantic gaming chair that looks like a scorpion. In addition, there’s the gaming PC, inside of which two RTX 3090 graphics cards work.
Unbox Therapy can even play Cyberpunk 2077 on 5 monitors with this setup, having 2 more monitors than the colleagues from “GeForce Garage”. He has a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels at 144 Hz available, corresponding to a 4K resolution.
Another gaming setup was presented by the well-known YouTuber and FaZe member Nordan “Rain” Shat. He set up a gaming setup for 30,000 US dollars. He mainly played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone and Valorant. In addition to his gaming PC, he also invested in a gaming chair from Vertagear and extensive RGB lighting that he can control with his smartphone.
