The open beta of Throne and Liberty has just come to an end, but now you can continue playing right away. Thanks to a new update, that’s possible with a little trick.
Why is this possible now? Throne and Liberty has just released the new “Leap Update” in Korea. The update overhauls the game comprehensively and will be further expanded with an update in August. Alongside many new gameplay features, such as multi-level dungeons, new lifeskills, and a completely new skill system, the update also expanded the game to 18 additional countries outside of Korea.
Included are many Asian countries and countries in Eastern Europe. They can now also play Throne and Liberty directly with the new update. But there is an option for everyone else as well.

With a trick, you can join the game too
How do you get into the game? To allow new players outside of Korea to join the game without a Korean account, Throne and Liberty is now available in the “Purple Launcher,” where you can also get other games like Lineage. A tutorial on how to install the MMORPG can be found on the developers’ website.
To play Throne and Liberty, you simply need to select a country where the game has launched instead of Germany when creating your account, such as Ukraine. Now you can easily download the game.
Some users on Reddit report, however, that they could not connect to the servers without a VPN. So it’s possible that you’ll need a VPN to get around this hurdle. Other users report that they only needed the VPN once for character creation and could play without it afterward.
The servers are already waiting for you with the new update that you could not try out in the open beta. However, there is a big catch if you start playing there.
Here’s the catch: If you sneak into the game this way, you will not be able to transfer your progress to the Amazon servers that will launch in the fall. So, you will either have to stay on the Asian servers or start completely fresh on the western servers.
