Another cool mount from the new WoW expansion has appeared. We show you the mummified raptor!
With Battle for Azeroth, the upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft, the customization of your character is emphasized. This includes not only appearance, such as cool gear or the look of a new allied race, but also a cool mount. And there will be plenty of those in Battle for Azeroth!
The new highlight is the Mummified Raptor, which data miners from wowhead have now found in the game files. Visually, the raptor is impressive, as you can see from this short video:
Some fans find it unfortunate that the Mummified Raptor resembles the raptor from the Collector’s Edition of BfA so much. Horde players receive a golden raptor there. The mummified raptor has merely lost its gold color and is basically a recolor of the Collector’s Edition.
It will be available as a rare drop from the boss Dazar in the new dungeon “King’s Rest.” As is usual with such mounts, however, the drop chance is likely to be extremely low. Whether the mount will be available at all difficulty levels is also not yet certain.
Currently, there is the impression that there have never been so many new mounts as in Battle for Azeroth. Those still struggling with the “300 mounts” achievement should find it easy to complete in the upcoming expansion.
What do you think of the riding raptor? Do you like that there are so many new mounts? Or should Blizzard not release mounts in the style of the Collector’s Edition?
