In World of Warcraft, the Spring Balloon Festival is calling. If you need a few minutes of relaxation, make sure to secure a spot!
Currently, one of the new micro-holidays is taking place in World of Warcraft again. The Spring Balloon Festival has arrived in Azeroth for a few days and entices with various balloon rides starting all over Azeroth. Just open your world map and look for the little red X marks. Hot air balloons are ready for departure there. Speak with the respective NPC and wait until two other players have joined.
Afterwards, you will experience a tour over the respective area. The NPCs try to engage players in conversations – and sometimes even respond to your answers! They ask you questions like “What do the Nightborne feed on?” and depending on your correct answer, the dialogues change a bit.
Make new friends at the Spring Balloon Festival in WoW
The Spring Balloon Festival takes place from May 10 to May 12 at midnight. If you want to experience the tours, you should hurry.
There are no achievements or rewards in the form of items for participating in the balloon rides. However, you might be lucky and find new players who will soon appear on your friends list.
Cortyn says: I must honestly admit that I am completely thrilled by the balloon festival. The flights are entertaining and beautiful. The NPCs continually try to encourage the players, and just a little bit of “pseudo-roleplay” has really lightened the atmosphere and created some fun conversations with strangers that I would never have experienced otherwise. I can only recommend every player to participate in the balloon rides while they are available. More of such mini-events, please, Blizzard!
