Farming Pretty Lucky Charms – Here’s How
To farm Pretty Lucky Charm Bracelets, you first need a special item, the “Lovely Charm Collector’s Kit.” You can obtain this from the event merchants in the main cities. Just look for the flying goblin “Qixi Q. Pido,” talk to him, and say that you want to have such a collector’s kit – then it will land in your inventory for free.
As long as you have the collector’s kit in your inventory, you can farm “Pretty Lucky Charms”. These drop from all enemies that give you experience points (or theoretically would, if you are already level 60).
You can then combine 10 of these pretty lucky charms into a “Pretty Lucky Charm Bracelet” and exchange it with the event vendor for a “Love Token”.
With the Love Tokens, you can purchase the numerous rewards from the event. These include not only transmog but also mounts and toys.
Or to put it simply: You can farm pretty lucky charms to ultimately buy most of the event’s rewards.
But where is the best place to farm the lucky charms?
The Best Places to Farm “Pretty Lucky Charms” in 2022
First things first: There isn’t a single perfect spot for farming. This is mainly because the locations vary depending on your character level, Blizzard often nerfs the most efficient spots within hours, and other factors are at play that you cannot influence. A really good spot loses a lot of its usefulness when several players are farming here at the same time.
We therefore offer you a small selection of places that have proven to be efficient.
Torghast at Level 1
Yes, you read that right. The Tower of the Damned is particularly suitable for the Valentine’s event. Simply visit the tower and go into one of the currently available wings at level 1.
The list of benefits is huge:
- No competition: In Torghast, no one will take your mobs.
- Endless enemies: You can start Torghast infinitely and always have a source of enemies to farm.
- Weak mobs: At level 1, the mobs in Torghast are designed for item level 130. Even a character newly at level 60 with only world quest equipment can take these enemies down with ease.
- Anima powers and the Box of Infinite Things: The anima powers from Torghast and the bonuses from the Box of Infinite Things further increase your character’s power and speed. You will breeze through the enemies.
- But be careful: Not all enemies in Torghast can drop lucky charms. Lesser creatures, like skeletons or maw rats, almost never leave behind a pretty lucky charm. The fewer of these creatures appear in your runs, the greater your yield will be.
Torghast is not “broken” as a farm spot but is extremely reliable. Without competition or the need to exert yourself particularly, you can farm a solid amount of lucky charms per hour here.
Ardenweald
You can find the second solid spot at level 60 in Ardenweald.
Simply travel to the coordinates 62 / 47. Here, you can look east from the road and see a permanent battlefield. The Tirnenn are constantly fighting against incoming enemies known as “Possessed Chargers.” These mobs spawn every second, and there is virtually no waiting time. As soon as a charger is defeated, a new one charges in.
This is particularly worthwhile for ranged classes, who don’t even need to move. Dot classes can simply apply spells to all enemies and grab the lucky charms – looting the corpses isn’t necessary and isn’t even possible since the mobs don’t leave any normal loot.
Since this spot is located in the open world and is now quite well known, there could be a lot of competition. However, the respawn here is usually so fast that it doesn’t matter much, even if three or four players are farming here. Only with an even larger number of players might it be worthwhile to switch to another spot.
The Eye of Azshara (Broken Isles)
Warning: This spot is suitable only if your character is still at level 50. However, it is significantly more efficient than comparable spots at level 60.
Travel to the Broken Isles, the setting of the Legion expansion. Now fly south from Dalaran to the island “Eye of Azshara.” This specifically does not refer to the dungeon in Azsuna, but to the island that you can also fly to in the open world.
On the island, there are some elite enemies, which shouldn’t pose a big threat to most characters. Tanks should have hardly any problems here.
The primary goal is to find the small “Salt Sea Droplets,” which bubble around in groups of 6 to 8. Each of them has a chance to drop a lucky charm.
