In the latest WoW comic, the story continues around the Windrunner sisters. Will Sylvanas, Vereesa, and Alleria get along again?
In preparation for the upcoming expansion of World of Warcraft, Battle for Azeroth, Blizzard has released the third comic. This time it’s about the Windrunner sisters, namely Sylvanas, Alleria, and Vereesa.
They want to finally meet again after many years. They plan to cleanse the Tower of the Windrunners, their former home, from the remaining creatures of the Scourge. During this, they talk about their past and also the future.

On the journey to the Tower of the Windrunners, the elf sisters talk about how they have changed and what life has made of them. They also play a game where they make three statements, but only two are true. Particularly with Sylvanas, one becomes attentive, as one of the statements is that she “would never betray her sisters”.
The Whisper of the Void: The whisper of the Void that constantly plagues Alleria is also exciting. The Void is known to contain some truths, as priests of the dagger Xal’atath know. It will be interesting to see which of the Void whispers becomes true. Maybe Sylvanas will actually kill Turalyon or Arator?
Sylvanas’ Betrayal: Only at the very end does it become clear that Sylvanas never truly intended to let her sisters go again. She wanted to kill them and resurrect them as undead, but decided differently due to the events. Family still seems to hold some value for the Dark Lady.
