WoW Classic or 'Vanilla' is the World of Warcraft with which everything began. Blizzard here brings back the earlier versions of WoW with all the content and challenges that existed back then. Currently, Wrath of the Lich King, which is considered the most popular addon, is the latest expansion. WoW Classic (Vanilla) was released on August 27, 2019, and the WotLK Classic expansion on September 27, 2022. Both versions are playable.
