A tooltip that spans over 50 lines – for a single spell in World of Warcraft. It is that complex when considering all the factors.

In order for a tooltip to display all this information, one must download an addon. “Advanced Tooltips” provides the option to list all talents and abilities that affect the precise functionality of an ability. This can result in over 12 individual tooltips with over 50 lines of text all describing how a single ability works.
The community notes that there are some classes where so many talents affect the same abilities that one actually has to keep a book to remember all functionalities or to understand how exactly the damage or healing of a spell combines.
For those who are completely lost with this complexity, Blizzard already has a solution. Because when the next patch of World of Warcraft goes live in a few weeks, there will be the “1-button rotation” – then you will only need to press one button!
