At Gamescom, both Wargaming with their military MMO World of Tanks and the Bundeswehr had a booth. Which one is more attractive to recruits?
Those who strolled through Gamescom or were pushed through the aisles by the crowd wondered what the Bundeswehr was doing with Ursula von der Leyen’s concrete hairstyle. The answer is clear: new recruits. What Wargaming is doing there with their booth is equally obvious: new players.
But which of the two organizations, clearly in the tank business, is doing better? Who is more attractive to young, eager, tech-savvy tank drivers? A television team from Eins Plus pursued this question and compared both booths with a wink.
By the way, at Gamescom 2014, the military MMOs didn’t hold back either, War Thunder had a tank on display.
