- Probability of the role: high, hinted at by Cavill himself
The Inquisition is considered the organization in the Imperium with by far the greatest power – even more so than the Council of Terra itself, at least in parts. Gregor Eisenhorn is one of the most famous Inquisitors and the hero in four books.
These very books would be an excellent foundation for a series, as they have everything necessary to maintain tension over several episodes:
- Investigation work, where Eisenhorn delves deeper into complicated cases
- dangerous enemies that confront the Inquisitor and his entourage.
- an overarching storyline that connects each individual case into a “greater whole”
You can play as an Inquisitor in the upcoming Dark Heresy:
Cavill himself has not ruled out Eisenhorn as a character, although he would prefer to play something more along the lines of a Primarch if possible. As part of the Ordo Xenos, Eisenhorn deals with almost all factions of the Warhammer universe and it would be an ideal opportunity for Games Workshop to showcase other species such as the Aeldari, T’au, or the conglomerates of Votann.
