The release date for World of Warcraft Dragonflight has been announced. The journey to the Dragon Isles begins in November.
Many feared that World of Warcraft Dragonflight might not be ready in time for 2022. After all, the announcement came relatively late, and there were concerns that the beta phase might not last long enough. However, these concerns have now seemingly evaporated. World of Warcraft Dragonflight will be released much earlier than expected.
When is the release? The official release date for World of Warcraft Dragonflight is November 29, 2022 (or November 28 in America).
That leaves exactly 2 months to prepare for the new expansion.
Dragonflight releases on November 29, 2022 – But when does the pre-patch come?
When does the pre-patch 10.0 come out? A date for the major pre-patch 10.0, which brings many significant updates such as the talent system, has not been announced yet. Generally, the release of such a patch is 3-5 weeks before the launch of the new expansion. If you still want to finish something with the old talent system before the major rework, you should hurry. The pre-patch will likely land by the end of October.
As soon as there is a concrete date for it, we will of course report on it.
When do the raids start? Blizzard has already commented on this as well. The first raid opens its doors on December 14. This applies not only to the normal and heroic modes but also to the mythic mode and cross-faction. This means that there will be a tight “World First” race right from the opening of the raid.
What do you think about the release date? Suitable and just right? Or do you believe the new expansion is coming too soon?
