In League of Legends there is a new jungler Bel’Veth. Now a video explains all her abilities and playstyle.
Bel’Veth is the Empress of the Void and is supposed to be a female counterpart to Renekton, Nasus, or Rengar.
She has huge wings that she uses to slice enemies and can build infinite attack speed through her passive ability “Death in Violet”. The faster she can attack, the more powerful her abilities become.
With her “Q” ability, she can sprint in one of four directions and deal damage to enemies. Each direction has its own cooldown, scaling with attack speed.
Her “W” can launch enemies into the air and slow them down. If this ability hits an enemy champion, the cooldown of “Q” is reduced in the direction of the hit champion.
With the “E”, she unleashes a storm of blows around her, granting her damage reduction and increased lifesteal. Each blow hits the enemy with the lowest health. The number of blows scales with her attack speed.
The ultimate ability “Endless Feast” transforms Bel’Veth into her true form. Every kill or assist leaves behind a piece of Void Coral. Epic monsters from the Void, such as Rift Herald or Baron Nashor, leave special Void Corals behind.
When Bel’Veth consumes a piece of Void Coral from normal enemies, it explodes, slowing nearby enemies and dealing true damage based on their missing health. Through consumption, Bel’Veth temporarily transforms into her true form.
However, if she consumes a Void Coral left by epic monsters from the Void, Bel’Veth retains her true form for a longer period. When minions die in her presence, they are reborn as loyal “Void Companions”.
When Bel’Veth takes on her true form, her maximum health, out-of-combat movement speed, attack range, and overall attack speed increase. She can then sprint through walls with her “Q” ability, which is not possible in her normal form.
Bel’Veth is really good at taking out single targets. Therefore, her playstyle leans towards split-pushing. When not in true form, team fights should be avoided.
