In Valorant, there are various tier lists for agents, but a few constants are present in all of them. However, the tier list of streamer shroud is radically different in some aspects from what most players would say about Valorant.
Shroud has decided: Michael “shroud” Grzesiek is a former CS:GO pro and top streamer on Microsoft’s platform Mixer. In the chat, the “human aimbot” was asked about his personal tier list for the agents in the game. This is a list in which he categorizes the heroes from “S” (totally overpowered) to “C” (only if there is nothing else).

Shroud Explains His Unusual List
Here’s why shroud made his decision: Those familiar with Valorant might be surprised. While Sage ranks high on most other lists, heroes like Brimstone or Breach are generally lower down. Moreover, the character Raze, often considered completely OP, is at the bottom of shroud’s list.
There are clear reasons for this, as shroud relies on a strategic team composition for a competitive setting. He needs a team that harmonizes optimally together and can counter enemy teams, rather than just pulling off a cheerful kill-fest.
For shroud, the following points are important:
- The team needs coordination, thus scouts like Sova and Cypher are essential.
- One also needs initiators, meaning heroes who lead the charge. Phoenix and Breach are top choices as they can draw opponents out of hiding and protect their team.
- Even the usually less favored Brimstone has good potential to initiate fights with his smoke grenades and orbital laser.
- Viper would almost be A-Tier for shroud, but is missing a little something in versatility.
- Omen is also too unhelpful for shroud.
- Jett has very little team potential; she can only shine in sparse “eco rounds” where one lacks top gear due to her movement skills.
- Raze, who is perceived as the strongest heroine by many, is practically worthless to shroud. She only has damage skills and nothing that adds value to the team. Only her rocket ultimate is dangerous.
Here’s why shroud is worried about Raze: According to shroud, Raze is even at risk because he is sure that the developers will fundamentally change the character. Too many players are currently upset with her as she allows for easy kills and is currently taking out beginners by the dozens.
However, if Raze continues to be nerfed, she could become even more worthless in competitive play, potentially disappearing completely. In his opinion, the introduction of Raze overlooked how extreme the character is for novices and how weak the agent might be in higher-rank games.
A fellow streamer, on the other hand, has had enough of Raze, as he has been killed by her a few times too often. Therefore, top Twitch streamer Summit1g is loudly demanding that they should remove the annoying agent from Valorant entirely. She is ruining his enjoyment of the game in the long run.
