In Pokémon GO the last hours of the Valentine’s Day event have arrived. How does it continue on Tuesday and which event starts next? Find out here on MeinMMO.
How long does the Valentine’s Day event run? The colorful Valentine’s Day event started in Pokémon GO on February 10. It ends on February 14, Valentine’s Day, at 8:00 PM.
In the coming days, there will be Spotlight and Raid hours. The start of the preparation week for the Johto Tour also falls in the next days. We’ll show you an overview of what’s next on the agenda.
The next events in Pokémon GO
This is coming in the next week:
- Tuesday, February 15: Spotlight hour with Smogon
- Mega Raids with Ampharos begin
- Wednesday, February 16: Raid hour with Deoxys
- Raids with Deoxys in its Normal form start – Until February 19
- From now on, there are up to two free Raid passes per day (Until March 1)
- Friday, February 18: Event to prepare for Johto Tour starts
- Saturday, February 19: Raids with Deoxys in its Attack form running – Until February 22
Spotlight hour: During the Spotlight hour with Smogon, you will receive a bonus on experience points. You’ll earn double XP for catching Pokémon.
This event is especially worthwhile for players who are still on their way to level 50 in Pokémon GO.
Two free Raid passes: Until March 1, you can receive up to two free Raid passes (no remote Raid passes) daily by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms. Make use of this to secure some strong Pokémon from Raids.
Preparation event for the GO Tour: Johto: This event runs from February 18 to February 25. So until the day before the start of the big Johto Tour on February 26.
There is still not much information available about this event. Niantic has already revealed that it will revolve around Poké Balls. So, it’s a good opportunity for you to prepare for many catches. We recommend that you create a lot of space in your Pokémon storage for the event, so you can spend most of the day catching. Several hundred balls will be needed for this. If you want to make the most of the Johto Tour day, you should have at least 600 balls on hand.
Which of the upcoming events are you looking forward to? Let us know here on MeinMMO in the comments. Or are you feeling burnt out? We asked you how often you still play Pokémon GO.
