A mysterious door presents you with a riddle in Titan Quest 2. What braziers have to do with solving it and what you get for it, you can read here.
What is this riddle? In the depths of Fiend’s Hollow, you will find a strange door that gives you a cryptic sentence when you interact with it:
“You imagine lighting a single brazier. Then a pair of braziers. Then a trio. Then the thoughts fade away.”
The braziers mentioned in the riddle can be found in the environment, and you need to light them in a very specific order to open the door. We will explain how and where exactly.
Finding and lighting the braziers – The correct order
This is how you solve the riddle: To open the door, you basically need to do exactly what it reveals. So you first light 1, then 2, and then 3 braziers. You will find them at these locations on the map, with the orange location marking the door:
- You first need to go to location 1 in blue:
- Then to location 2 in red:
- And then to map point 3 in green:
If you light all the braziers correctly, the door will open automatically.
These rewards await you
Once you have solved the riddle, you will receive a chunk of experience as well as 10 x Embers of Night. In the room behind the door, there is also a miner named Mopsus. You can ignore him because he just complains that you found his hideout.
More interesting are the two chests behind him that you can loot at your leisure. The contents are random, but definitely worthwhile.
