In Valorant a player made an insane clutch on the map Split with the agent Sova. He won even though he was already dead. How he did it and how you can copy the trick, you can find out here at MeinMMO.
What happened? The streamer Average Jonas posted an insane stunt on reddit. He was the last one left from his team on the map Split and played the agent Sova. There were still two opponents left. Average Jonas played as an attacker and the bomb was already planted. But the opponents were already trying to defuse it. So he went all in and shot around the corner with the skill “Shock Dart” to disrupt the opponents.
At the same time, a Raze from the enemy team threw a bomb and killed Average Jonas, who did not want to move from cover, with her cluster bombs. But since the game only ends when the defenders have defused the activated bomb, the round continued.
As Average Jonas had already shot his arrow, it happily ricocheted off the wall and slammed right where the bomb was. And also both remaining opponents! Since the Shock Dart deals area damage, it simply killed both opponents and Average Jonas along with his team won the round with an insane 0:2 clutch!
The streamer could hardly believe his luck, nor could the team. The viewers on reddit also found the stunt super. The post has over 14,000 upvotes and more than 170 comments.
How you can optimally shoot the bomb on Split with Sova
This is the trick on Split: In fact, Average Jonas’ shot was no accident. Because on the map Split there is indeed a clever spot from which you can indirectly shoot the optimal bomb spot with Sova.
Because usually the bomb, if placed on B, is always between the box and the wall, so you are protected from fire from three sides. But if you position yourself south of it in the garage behind the passage to B and shoot at a certain angle with Sova’s Shock Dart, the arrow bounces twice around the corner and hits the bomb site directly. Proceed as follows:
- Position yourself in the garage next to the passage to B, so that you face the wall opposite the poster with the motorcycle
- Use the Shock Dart and charge it fully
- Aim at the poster with the motorcycle between the handles and release the arrow
The arrow ricochets off the wall with the poster, flies to B and bounces off there again. It then hits exactly the spot where the bomb is usually located and thus also hits bomb planters or defusers.
