The Black Friday tempts with a plethora of cool and interesting offers. But how about hardware that has only been available at horrendous prices throughout the year? Because even at this current time you can buy graphics cards on eBay for thousands of Euros.
What is currently on offer? On Black Friday, as of now (as of 23.11.2021) there is exactly one single graphics card on sale. The graphics card in question is the MAXSUN RX 550. The MAXSUN AMD Radeon RX 550 with 4 GB of video memory is officially priced at 259 Euros, but as a Prime member, you will get a discount of 52 Euros on Black Friday.

MAXSUN is unknown in Germany – a major player in China
Who is this at all? You’ve never heard of MAXSUN? We’re not surprised, as this is a manufacturer that mainly produces in China and sells its products there.
MAXSUN was founded in 2002 and is a sub-brand of Guangzhou Commerce Information Technology Co. Ltd. The company is among the larger hardware manufacturers in Asia and is based in China (via techreviewer.com).
Besides graphics cards, MAXSUN also manufactures motherboards, RAM, and SSDs. In terms of graphics cards, MAXSUN focuses on the design familiar from other hardware from the Asian region.
So far, you could mainly buy these products on sites like AliExpress. In recent years, more Chinese manufacturers have also come to Europe and offer their graphics cards and other hardware products for sale here. By now, you can also purchase these products on Amazon.

Is an RX 550 on offer for 200 Euros worth it?
Is such an offer worth it? Even though the graphics card is currently discounted by 52 Euros, you still pay around 200 Euros for the RX 550, which is simply too much for a low-end graphics card in our eyes.
At its release at the end of 2017, an RX 550 cost between 80 and 120 Euros and was primarily aimed at gamers who wanted to play some small games at low or medium settings at HD or Full HD.
At this current time, despite the offer, you are paying double the MSRP. If you are already willing to pay significantly higher prices, you should go for a proper model right away. For the RX 550, you should be aware that you will not be able to satisfactorily play current top titles with it.
Additionally, at this point, we cannot tell you whether the manual and BIOS of the graphics card are in English or whether you will end up dealing with a Chinese BIOS. Installing a graphics card is always the same and does not require any language skills – just a bit of patience and a screwdriver:
