The enemies of the “Black Tusk” receive prominent reinforcement in The Division 2. In a bounty mission, you can hunt down the bandit equivalent of world record skydiver Felix Baumgartner!
What’s going on in the streets of Washington? The Division 2 offers players many opportunities to keep busy. One of the activities is called “Bounty Missions” and sends agents on a mission to target a specific enemy marked on the map.
A very special troublemaker is currently wreaking havoc in the destroyed alleys of the former capital: Felix “Bouncy” Baumgartner – extreme athlete and world record skydiver:
Baumgartner broke several world records
What records did he break? The Austrian Felix Baumgartner is primarily known for his stratospheric jump in 2012 – from a staggering height of 38,969.4 meters.
In the process, he not only broke the record for the highest jump of a skydive but achieved a total of three world records:
- Highest jump of a skydive: 38,969.4 meters
- Deepest free fall (height difference): 36,402.6 meters
- Greatest speed achieved in free fall: 1,357.6 km/h
The jump was a major advertising campaign for an Austrian soft drink manufacturer.
A total of seven world records were pursued, such as the highest manned balloon flight, of which the mentioned three were ultimately recognized as official world records.
Extreme athlete on a wrong path
How can I hunt him in The Division 2? His digital, second career path leads extreme athlete Baumgartner to the Washington neighborhood of “Foggy Bottom”. There, he is part of a “Black Tusk” task force that loots the streets and robs hardworking settlers.
If you select the “Bounty Missions” tab on your megamap above, you can activate the bounty mission in “Foggy Bottom” in the western city area. Felix “Bouncy” Baumgartner is part of the “Task Force Obsidian” and will appear on your map at the beginning of the hunt.
If you want to add the prominent target to your hit list, you have until the weekly project update on Thursday morning (October 3) to do so. In addition to glory, you will receive the following rewards from the bounty mission:
- 41,550 XP
- 8,480 Credits
- 2x superior gear item
- one faction key
What’s currently happening in The Division 2? The next major Title Update 6 has been announced for mid-October and will be the largest expansion of the loot shooter yet. A lot will be changed, balanced, and alongside Episode 2, a free content DLC will be released simultaneously.
