The new MMORPG Peasent lets you play as farmers, surpassing its Kickstarter goal in just 24 hours

In Peasant, you take on the role of a farmer who rebels against corrupt adventurers. The developers successfully funded their game on Kickstarter, surpassing their goal in just 21 hours, allowing the game to be released on Steam in the future.

What kind of game is this? In Peasant, you do not play as a hero but as a farmer who stands up against corrupt adventurers. The game does not offer traditional skill trees; instead, your actions determine which of the over 12 possible paths you can choose and combine.

During this time, you can explore the world, tame exotic creatures, build armies, and stand against the so-called heroes.

The developers presented their game on Kickstarter to fund it. They exceeded their goal in a very short time. The final game is expected to be released on Steam.

Kickstarter goal surpassed in less than a day

Which goal have the developers surpassed? The developers set up their project on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter to realize the game. Their desired amount was €30,000.

They not only reached this goal in 21 hours but have since significantly surpassed it. Currently, 2,566 people have supported the project with a total of €170,907 (as of August 1st, 8:00 PM).

What are the next steps for the developers? Unfortunately, a precise release date for the game is not yet known. However, the Kickstarter page hints that the game could be released in spring 2025.

By reaching certain funding goals on Kickstarter, users have already unlocked some features. There will be the option to fish and cook in the game. Furthermore, 75% of the map will be accessible at the Early Access release.

Additionally, there will be 12 different paths in the game that players can choose throughout the story.
