The new MMORPG A:IR from the creators of TERA features five classes that create a lot of action in combat. You can experience how that looks in action here.
What is A:IR? Ascent: Infinite Realm (A:IR) is an upcoming MMORPG from Korea. The game has a steampunk setting with flying ships and mechs.
Additionally, it will have an action combat system. You can see how that looks in action here in a video of the Asian version that is currently being tested.
5 Classes and a lot of Action
As seen in the video, there are initially five classes in A:IR:
- Warlord: This heavily armored knight is likely to be a tank.
- Sorceress: A classic mage with a lot of area damage.
- Mystic: This seems to be a supporter and healer.
- Assassin: This class also appears to be the usual agile assassin and single-target DPS hero.
- Gunslinger: The coolest class in the video is this gunslinger. He deals massive damage in close combat and can use a rifle from a distance or throw dynamite.
Each class seems to clearly fill a role and have its own gameplay.
Massive Airship as Hub City: Since A:IR relies heavily on flying ships, your capital and quest hub is also a gigantic airship. It is called Inventus and serves as the base of all your endeavors.
