Amazon has canceled the closed beta of New World: Aeternum just before the launch. The action MMORPG was supposed to be the new version of the Steam hit New World. But just before the launch, there is a delay.
Here was the plan:
- The beta for New World: Aeternum was supposed to start on July 11 for PS5 and Xbox Series S/X
- The beta was to run until July 17, giving console players on Xbox and PlayStation a chance to play the new game
- However, Amazon has now canceled the beta just before the launch

No reason is given for this postponement, with Amazon merely stating: They are working hard on the beta and want to provide everyone with the best possible experience.
