Skyforge is not doing particularly well in this country. The ratings on Steam are dropping sharply, just like the player numbers. Now the developers announced a major update that will allow you to shape an entire planet. Perhaps this will rekindle the interest of players?
What is happening with Skyforge? Looking at the data on Steamcharts, the player numbers continue to decline. On average, only around 130 players are online at the same time on Steam, and even though the own client should offer more, this shows a trend.
In addition, the game currently has a rating of 33% on Steam. The combat system and bugs are mainly criticized. With almost every update, new problems arise, which drives the fans up the wall.
Even the latest updates, which introduced a new bard class and even Battle Royale, have not yet led to any improvement.
Shape an entire planet
What’s next for the MMORPG? The Allods team and My.com have now announced a very extensive update called “New Horizons”. This will introduce an entirely new planet with a new storyline.

- Exploration drones have discovered a new enemy with advanced technology that you must confront.
- It is your task to find out who this enemy is.
- Additionally, you must uncover the secret of this world. Why is it so destroyed? What happened here?
What is special about “New Horizons”? Not only will you explore a new planet with large areas, it is also your task to shape and change this world.
- To do this, you will first build a base upon your arrival on Terra.
- You will gradually change this world with the help of
detailed “programs”. - By upgrading the programs, you will gradually explore the areas and change their appearance
- This will unlock new story chapters, special missions, further adventures, and rewards.
Skyforge continues to decline
When will the update be released? New Horizons will be released on April 9 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
What do the players think? There is very little discussion about Skyforge. On Steam, discussions occur only sporadically.
On Reddit, there is more talk about bugs and problems, and Skyforge no longer has its own forum.
The game seems to simply no longer capture the interest of the MMORPG community in this country. Whether this will change with “New Horizons”, we will see on April 9.
