The medieval MMO Conqueror’s Blade launches Season 8 titled Dynasty. After the last focus on Vikings, the new season centers around Chinese and their war machinery. This includes new units and even a new weapon type: the Pike.
What’s new in Season 7? After wild Vikings shook up the game in Season 7, Season 8 “Dynasty” moves away from Europe and heads to the Far East, to China.
Here, the Tang Dynasty served as inspiration, whose nearly 300-year reign once led ancient China into a cultural golden age. This era inspired the new campaign where you will explore the new starting region Longting along with the metropolis Hao Jing.
The major highlight of the season in the medieval MMO is a new weapon type: the Pike. This is basically an oversized spear with which you can overshadow any other melee weapon. With it, you can execute deadly combos from a distance and impale enemies before they even have a chance to reach you. You can unlock the Pike through challenges in the game.
Additionally, the developers created a stylish cinematic for the new season.
New Units and Battle Pass
This is also included in the new season: In Season 8, you can unlock and command three new seasonal units:
- Club Monks (3-star): These generally peaceful monks take up arms when necessary.
- Shifu Garrison (4-star): A veteran unit that was once involved in an epic siege.
- Modao Battalion (4-star): A disciplined elite troop that works particularly well as the first wave of attack.
- Shenji Grenadiers (5-star): You can unlock this unit in the unit tree.
Later in the season, the fortress Linwu will be introduced. This castle was once besieged for 40 years. In the game, it serves as the setting for 10vs10 battles.
What does the Battle Pass offer? Over 100 tiers of premium rewards can be earned in the new Battle Pass. This includes the new hero outfit “Grim Emperor,” the troop uniform “Shadow Legion,” the hero outfit “Iron Warrior,” additional emotes, and other weapon skins.
