In this ranking, we present you the 4 miniatures of the Greater Demons. In the first place, there is a creature that does not want to decide on either gender or just one effect on the viewer but simply combines everything in one.
The Keeper of Secrets is the absolute elite of a miniature and you can’t change my mind about that. It is perfect.
It looks beautiful, strange, stylish, glamorous, dangerous, a bit like a fever dream, but a desirable one. Or as I would personally best express it in my own words: There is no other miniature that is served so! hard!
Even though I have to dial down my personal enthusiasm a bit to look at the miniature more critically, I must simply say: I find nothing to criticize. The design and its concept are perfect!
A huge, overly relaxed, androgynous being in an ornate negligee, a flowing cloak, adorned horns, claws, and hefty blades on both sides, that look absolutely threatening.
Here, the ratio between detail and quiet zones is perfectly maintained, not overloaded, and allows each part to read calmly without appearing simplistic in any way.
With the Keeper of Secrets, you can paint almost every surface, whether skin, fabric, horn, or metal. It has wonderful large areas through the cloak where you can highlight the shadows and highlights of the fabric, but also small details on the belt and headdress.
Even the silhouette is simply, how should I put it, C*nt.
The Keeper of Secrets has absolutely earned the first place for me and is considered one of the most impressive and beautiful miniatures I have ever seen.
