In this ranking, we present to you the 4 miniatures of the Great Demons. In second place is a big chap that you can almost smell through the screen.

The Great Unclean One is simply disgusting – and that makes it so perfect. It looks gross, mean, and just repulsive, giving me the feeling that despite its plastic and color, it somehow smells like decay; this thing is designed so well.
While I criticized the Blood Demon and the Lord of Change for being too busy to look at, I thought that the Great Unclean One might lack in eye-catchers. Initially, I placed it fourth for that reason… but I was ultimately dissatisfied with that.
The Great Unclean One must be just like that. Its focal point is… IT. Yes, it offers a really cool sword and fancy chains for some variety, but the true showstopper of this miniature is the skin folds and the protruding belly from which its guts spill out.
Even if it doesn’t appeal to me personally as much as, for example, a pretty bird: It must certainly be a lot of fun to paint the Great Unclean One. You can beautifully use shine and light effects on its innards, and the thick, wrinkly belly invites a lot of play with light and shadow and skin effects.
And what is actually the main reason why I find this miniature so great: I love the little Nurglings that are chilling on it. That is a 10/10 design choice that I just find awesome.

I really have no complaints about the Great Unclean One, except that it might not just have the vibe that would convince me to spend 135 Euros on it. However, I can completely understand how this miniature is regarded as an absolute king by some Warhammer fans.
My king, my queen, my… ruler creature that made it to the first place, I will introduce you to on the next and final page.
