A new patch 1.5.6 for The Elder Scrolls Online has been deployed today with a delay. In contrast to the same patch in the USA, it was only half the size.
The 1.5.6 was primarily supposed to fix audio bugs. In the USA, there was trouble on Monday as it was 12 GB. Extremely large for a “minor patch” that brought no new game content. The enormous size was due to an error on Zenimax’s part, and players downloaded two builds at once.
In Europe, there was another problem on the “usual” patch day on Tuesday, which caused the patch to be postponed to Thursday morning, January 27th. Now the patch is “only” 6 GB and can be downloaded. You can find the patch notes here .
