For the MMO shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division (PC, PS4, Xbox One), there is now a code circulating that allows unlocking 4 gear sets. However, this is only available at release and probably only for Americans.
Yesterday, we presented to you Ubisoft’s video series: Agents Origins. The origins of the agents. Situations in which seemingly normal residents of New York were suddenly “activated”. These noteworthy videos were created as part of a marketing campaign by Ubisoft and they want to push that further.
Four gear sets have been created that players can receive using the code “AGENTORIGINS”. This should, however, only work from the release – and at the moment it seems that this is only planned for Americans (North and South Americans). On the double continent, some have already managed to redeem the code – they see a different page than we do. We only see it for a few milliseconds, then it switches to the pre-order page.
According to rumors on reddit, some Europeans have also managed to redeem the codes using various proxy servers and tricks. Whether these sets will also come to Europe “normally” is still unclear at the moment.
In any case, it seems like a good idea to wait until March 8th and visit this page only then to enter the code “AGENTORIGINS”. With a bit of luck and if Ubisoft wants, something might happen, even if we are on the wrong side of the Atlantic.
Update: Ubisoft has now confirmed to the site vg247: The code only works in the United States.
