Simple story with a captivating villain
What makes Far Cry 3 so outstanding? The game tells a simple story with complex characters. You are Jason Brody: wealthy, spoiled, and an adrenaline junkie. However, the comfortable life ends as soon as you land on an island with friends and are kidnapped by pirates.
Throughout the story, Jason transforms from a fearful child to a stoic warrior and meets a series of quirky characters. They have since become essential in Far Cry, and in this respect, part 3 was groundbreaking for the future of the series.
Although Jason himself is an exciting character, he is overshadowed by another character in the game (and even pushed off the cover): Vaas. The sadistic pirate is portrayed by Michael Mando and dances on the fine line between pure madness and calculated malice.
