Bartolomeo
Who is he? Bartolomeo is the captain of the Barto Club Pirates and a big fan of Monkey D. Luffy. He is a young but highly skilled pirate who possesses the Barrier Fruit, which allows him to create impenetrable barriers.
He first meets Luffy during the Dressrosa arc. After a brief but intense first encounter, in which Bartolomeo proves to be a combative and determined character, he expresses his willingness to help Luffy and his crew.
Why is he a loyal ally? In Dressrosa, he helps Luffy and the Straw Hats by using his abilities to protect his allies from attacks and support them in this way. Bartolomeo’s actions are driven by a deep admiration and loyalty towards Luffy. Even if it often comes across as somewhat exaggerated, he worships Luffy and would do anything for him.
After the battle in Dressrosa, Bartolomeo decides to form his own pirate fleet for Luffy. Together with other former fighters from the Coliseum, such as Cavendish, Hajrudin, Orlumbus, and others, he is ready to join the Straw Hat Crew as allies.
These 5 characters have proven to be Luffy’s most loyal allies outside the Straw Hat Crew. While the excitement for One Piece continues, the recently announced spin-off release brought both joy and some criticism: One Piece is getting a new special that sounds like a bad fan fiction: “It ruins the reputation of the anime”
