Rank 1: Mace Windu
Our rank is rightfully Mace Windu. The Jedi Master does not often play in the front row of heroes throughout the story, but he emerges more powerful at the right moment.
Windu is an incredible talent with the lightsaber and has even developed his own form: Form 7, called Vaapad. It is considered extremely deadly and uses aggression, a trait of the dark side, to his positive advantage. Mace Windu always balances on the edge of the dark side but does not succumb to temptation.
The immense power and skill of the Jedi is perhaps best demonstrated in his duel against Darth Sidious. Hardly anyone has emerged victorious against the Sith Lord. Windu has succeeded in disarming and defeating him. Had Anakin not arrived at the last moment, Windu could have killed Darth Sidious – nonetheless, it is an achievement that earns him this rank 1.
