Palworld has received new content and features through Early Access. However, there’s one feature that has been there since early 2024 and yet it keeps slipping through people’s fingers.
What happened to the player? In a post on Reddit, Familiar-Living-22 shares their experiences in Palworld. Currently, the player is at level 80 in the endgame and is unlocking the World Tree one by one.
For maximum egg yield while exploring, they always had a four-star Grintale with them, which was supposed to give double eggs. However, that did not happen and Familiar-Living-22 kept wondering if their Pal might be bugged.
Ultimately, they realized: The Grintale was not bugged. They had simply never crafted the saddle that belongs to the Pal and thus unlocked the passive ability for double eggs. In their post on Reddit, they want to know if they are the only one this has happened to: I played the whole game making a stupid mistake and please tell me I’m not the only fool this has happened to.
The answer? Definitely not alone!
It’s common sense
Is the player alone in their misery? The clear answer is no. The post has now received over 1800 upvotes and over 450 comments. Other Palworld players share their own slip-ups:

Yeah, I had that too. It’s common sense to think that abilities that have nothing to do with mounts should work without a saddle. I noticed because my Dumud eggs were not alpha even though I had two Broncherries.

I can imagine that about half the people using Grintale or Broncherry twins did that. I had collected about 30 eggs before I realized that I wasn’t just unlucky.

And those are just three of the now over 450 comments. Familiar-Living-22 probably feels validated now.
Slowly but surely, more and more players seem to be reaching the new endgame of Palworld. However, along with that, a whole lot of new thoughts and complaints are surfacing. Those who are clever can at least eliminate one problem with a simple trick: Players complain about the endgame of Palworld, the community knows a trick that only takes a few steps
