In Subnautica 2 there are plenty of resources, but no map to find them specifically. Therefore, we show you how to collect Creature Glycol without much trouble and use it for Glazed Glass.
How to find Creature Glycol? You can easily harvest Creature Glycol by looking for white columns in black formations – the so-called Needle Nests. This is what it looks like:
If you find such formations, you can harvest them with a Sonar Resonator and receive Creature Glycol.
Finding Needle Nests for Creature Glycol – These are the best locations
Where can you safely find Needle Nests? You can easiest find Needle Nests by searching large stone columns and groupings. You will find these mainly near the Alien Tower in the Plateau biome.
It is best to orient yourself by your escape pod and swim about 1400 meters east. Then dive down about 300 meters and look for the nests. You should hardly miss them.
Making Glazed Glass – Here’s what you need
How do you get the recipe? When you harvest Creature Glycol for the first time, you also receive the recipe for Glazed Glass, unless you obtained it otherwise beforehand. To craft the material, you will then need the following:
- 2 x Creature Glycol
- 1 x Glass
What do you need the glass for? If you want a display that shows you the time of day, or a Tadpole Transport Chassis for your Tadpole vehicle, then you also need Glazed Glass.
You mainly want to upgrade your Tadpole if you plan to play cooperatively with your friends so that as many as possible can travel together in a vehicle.
