In one of his streams about WoW: Classic , streamer Summit1g was quite annoyed. He was locked out of a dungeon.
Who is it about? Summit1g is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch. On the live streaming platform, he has over 3.8 million followers. He is a variety streamer. He does not focus on just one game, but rather on what is currently popular.
Recently, he was playing roleplay in GTA 5, and now WoW: Classic is on the agenda. Selected players can currently try out the beta of this WoW version.
Why is he frustrated? After several attempts, Summit1g cannot enter a dungeon. He wanted to comfortably collect experience points.
After his death in the dungeon, he respawns as a ghost at a graveyard near the dungeon. As a ghost, he has to run back to the instance, resurrect, and then march through the entrance. But that doesn’t work, and it frustrates him.
“It’s not easier to get experience points, and I’m locked out. Oh my God. Fuck. Maybe because I’m invisible?” he asks during one of his last attempts to enter the dungeon. After that, he gets killed by other players.
“I just want to get into the damn dungeon,” he adds.
This is how his chat trolls him: When his viewers notice how annoyed Summit1g is because he is locked out of the instance, they start to troll. In the chat, you can read
- Just run in with “sprint”
- Go into the instance
- Hey, why not just try to walk into the instance?
Summit1g responds to the chat and says annoyed: “Run in? My God, Chat. The only reason I’m here is that I CANNOT RUN IN. Damn, that’s the dumbest concept that World of Warcraft has ever come up with.”
What mechanic is holding him back? In the first video, you can see the message above his webcam in the WoW chat: “You have entered too many instances recently.”
In World of Warcraft, players can only enter a limited number of dungeons per hour. Once the limit is reached, the character simply runs through the instance portal instead of loading into the dungeon.
It takes an hour after entering the first instance for this timer to reset. As long as that is the case, like Summit1g in the shown videos, you are locked out of instances.
