On Friday, November 15, 2024, Jack Doherty married the YouTuber McKinley Richardson while live-streaming simultaneously on Parti.com and Twitch.
On Twitch, people suspected that the viewer count of 17,000 must have been bought, as there were very few messages in the chat. This discrepancy was also noted by the user yoxics on X. Normally, more users would be writing in the chat, especially when there is such a high number as 17,000.
Furthermore, the viewer count allegedly frequently jumped from 7,000 to 17,000 when clicking on the stream, as shown in this video on X.
How did Jack Doherty react? The influencer responded with a video on X. His explanation: Since he was streaming simultaneously on Parti.com, he had told his viewers to write in the chat there. He would only read and interact with the chat there.
