The former Overwatch professional Félix “xQc” Lengyel has long been at the top of Twitch and is considered one of the biggest streamers worldwide. In a YouTube video, he is portrayed as a creepy creature possessed by wealth and reach.
What kind of video is this? The YouTuber Hunter August Hancock posts animated video parodies of cartoon characters, online phenomena, or Twitch streamers under the name MeatCanyon.
A recent video parodies the former Overwatch professional Félix “xQc” Lengyel. It depicts the streamer as a kind of goblin crouching on his desk chair producing reaction content. As his housekeepers try to steal from him, the creature hunts them down. He particularly targets their eyes, which seems to be a metaphor for the all-powerful “views”.
The video contains numerous allusions that make it easy to identify the subject of the parody:
- xQc has recently come under criticism for his reaction content
- The creature in the video exhibits some linguistic peculiarities of the streamer and speaks extremely fast and unclearly
- xQc actually hired housekeepers recently and was then terribly embarrassed when they appeared on his stream
- Moreover, the streamer is depicted in the video with plate-sized pupils, which could be an allusion to accusations of drug abuse (via GameStar)
In a stream, the 27-year-old reacted to the video.
xQc takes it with humor
What did xQc say about his animated likeness? The streamer took the matter humorously. Right at the beginning, he had to admit: That’s pretty accurate. Furthermore, the streamer laughed at appropriate moments and made a few fitting comments like “What?” and “Jesus”.
However, it seemed that the 27-year-old was not fully aware of the irony that he is reacting to a video that mocks his reaction streams. Also, the pitying look that the housekeeper gives the creature seems to miss its mark somewhat.

Additionally, xQc seems to be quite determined to take the criticism of his reactions to heart. Critics have accused the streamer of profiting from the content of others and contributing very little himself.
At the end of his reaction, he encourages his viewers to leave a like, activate notifications, and do the “other thing,” whatever that may be. Perhaps he wants to give credit to the creators of the content he reacts to.
Meanwhile, the public feud with Adept, xQc’s ex-girlfriend, seems to have no end. In a kind of online therapy, the streamer recently spoke about the relationship. Apparently, he felt that his partner was only interested in his money:
Twitch: xQc (27) says his relationship ended when he was feeling down and wrote a will
