The new battle royale mode Warzone in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been available for less than a week, and already the best players are achieving insane kill records. In their teams, they have taken out tons of opponents and left barely any players for others.
What records are those? In Warzone, 150 players compete against each other, and only those who are still standing at the end can win. It’s important to eliminate many opponents.
The records we show here are the currently known highest kills that a trio or a single player has managed to achieve.
Since there is still no official tracking site for such metrics, we have to rely on the players’ posts for this. These are currently provisional records that could be broken at any time.
How did they do it? The players who set the records are mostly professionals who make money playing games, many specialize in Call of Duty. They not only play exceptionally well, but they also utilize the mechanics of Warzone properly:
- Killstreaks and loadouts play an important role
- Choosing the right landing zone is essential
- Thanks to the Gulag, they also have a second chance after a rough start
All record holders are also on their trio squad as intended by the developers
A full round of the streamer TMemoryy (57 kills in the team) is embedded below. An impressive performance, but no longer a record. It still shows how well the professionals play.
The largest team record – 67 kills
The current largest record, known to us, in kills for the entire team belongs to CoD professional Mark “Zepa” Zepackic and his squad mates micka and Lymax. Zepa plays for the Australian eSports team Mindfreak in the active CoD roster. They have individual stats of:
- Zepa: 25 kills, 7285 damage
- micka: 22 kills, 6443 damage
- Lymax: 20 kills, 7082 damage
This results in a combined 67 kills for the squad – almost half (about 42%) of all players in the battle royale, excluding their own team. They set the record on March 14.
The largest solo kill record – 38 kills
The most kills as a single player are held by the Mixer streamer GaGOD. However, GaGOD was not solo or duo, but also in a trio squad. He managed to accumulate the most kills alone.
He took out an impressive 38 people with 9695 damage inflicted. That is over a quarter of the other players he eliminated alone and the current record, which he managed to set on March 13.
Will the records be broken?
At the moment it is still quite early, as Warzone was only released on March 10. Even though the records set the bar quite high, they could be broken soon or later. Perhaps you can even catch up with the record holders:
- Warzone is set to increase to 200 players – more targets for you
- With these 10 tips, victory will come easier and surely a kill or two as well
By the way, you can already rack up kills while parachuting or watching in the Gulag:
